Vasadeploy is operated by VASASU PRIVATE LIMITED (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information through the Vasadeploy website, applications, and related build and deployment services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
The information we process depends on the features you use:
- Account and profile information: your email address, account identifier, authentication information, display name, and any mobile number, country, or timezone you provide.
- Organization information: organization names, membership roles, invitation email addresses, and records of actions taken within an organization.
- Project and build information: repository details, source code retrieved for a build, branches and commit information, workflow instructions, project settings, build logs, generated files, and publishing status. These materials may contain personal information supplied by you or your collaborators.
- Connection information: account and application identifiers, access permissions, tokens, and credentials you provide to connect repositories, run workflows, or publish software.
- Billing information: billing name, email, address, optional phone number, tax details where applicable, credit purchases and usage, payment references, and transaction status. Payment providers process payment credentials through their own checkout services; we receive the information needed to confirm and record transactions.
- Technical and support information: information associated with requests to the Service, such as IP address, browser or device details, access times, errors, and the information you send when contacting us.
We receive information directly from you, from authorized members of your organization, from connected services you enable, and through your use of the Service. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information in repositories, logs, generated files, or support requests.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts; manage personal and organization access; retrieve authorized repositories; execute workflows; display build progress and logs; store and deliver generated files; and carry out publishing actions you request. We also use information to manage credits and payments, issue transaction communications, answer support requests, investigate errors, prevent fraud and misuse, secure the Service, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
Where applicable law requires consent for a particular activity, we obtain that consent. Where the law permits processing without consent, we process information only for permitted purposes. Providing information needed for an account, build, integration, or payment is necessary to use that feature.
3. Organization accounts
If you use Vasadeploy through an organization, information about your membership and activity, together with project data, build logs, and generated files, may be accessible to other members according to their roles. Organization owners and authorized administrators control membership, permissions, integrations, and settings.
The organization is responsible for its instructions to us and for having authority to submit information about its members or other individuals. Contact the organization owner for requests concerning organization-controlled information. You may also contact us about the personal information we handle for your own account.
4. Connected services and publishing
Connecting a repository or publishing destination authorizes us to exchange the information needed for the actions you request, within the permissions you grant. For example, a build may retrieve source code from a connected repository, and a publishing workflow may send a generated package and related application information to your selected destination.
You can manage connections through the Service and revoke permissions through the connected provider where available. Disconnecting a service does not automatically remove previously created build records or information already received by that provider. Connected services handle information under their own privacy policies.
5. Cookies and browser storage
We use a session cookie to maintain sign-in and browser storage to remember preferences, such as your theme, and temporarily cache interface data. These technologies support authentication and the operation of the Service. You can clear or restrict them through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or affect functionality. Payment and connected services may use their own technologies when you interact with them.
6. When we share information
We share information with service providers that help us operate, secure, communicate about, support, and administer the Service, including payment and accounting services. We also share information with organization members as described above and with connected destinations when you authorize an action.
We may disclose information where required by law or a valid legal request, or where necessary to investigate misuse, protect rights and safety, or resolve disputes. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of the business, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections. We do not sell personal information.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Build files are subject to the retention settings and limits applicable to your account; expired files may be removed automatically. Files needed for an unresolved publishing operation may be retained until that operation is resolved.
You may request account deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. Our account deletion page explains how to prepare and what happens next. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Deleting a personal account does not necessarily delete organization-controlled records or information held by connected services.
Some information may be retained to comply with tax or other legal requirements, prevent fraud, maintain security, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Backup copies may remain until their normal replacement or deletion cycle. Retained information remains subject to appropriate safeguards.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and protection for stored secrets. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials secure, review organization permissions, and avoid exposing secrets in source code or build output.
Information may be processed in India and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we apply safeguards for international transfers under applicable law.
9. Your choices and privacy requests
You can update available profile fields, manage connected accounts, and adjust account settings through the Service. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access to information about your personal data, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or other available rights, and raise a privacy grievance.
Send requests or grievances to [email protected], with enough detail to identify your account and request. Do not send passwords or secret credentials. We may request reasonable verification and will respond within the period required by applicable law. Withdrawal of consent does not affect prior lawful processing and may prevent us from providing a feature that depends on that consent. This policy does not limit your right to approach a competent authority where applicable law permits.
10. Children
Vasadeploy is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will publish the updated policy with a revised effective date and provide notice of material changes through the Service or your account email where appropriate. Where required, we will obtain fresh consent.
